20,212 Belgians live in Luxembourg

They represent 3.4% of the total population. Belgians are most present in the communes located on the border of Belgium, like Winseler, Weiswampach or Ell. The number of Belgians applying for and obtaining Luxembourgish nationality fluctuates over time and is 322 in 2017 (6.5%). On the occasion of the Belgian national holiday on July 21st, STATEC presents some statistics on Belgians in the Grand Duchy.
