Any alimony due to a spouse, an ascendant or a descendant is paid, on request and under certain conditions defined by the National solidarity fund and is recovered by the fund. The demand for payment is allowed if the creditor justifies having his official domicile in Luxembourg and that he or his legal representative has resided there for 5 years and that his alimony is fixed by an executory court order at Luxembourg.
