The "Chambre des Métiers" [Chamber of skilled crafts] is constituted as a public institution by the law of 4 April 1924, as amended, relating to the creation of professional chambers on an elective basis and is currently governed by the provisions of the Grand-Ducal decree of 8 October 1945. As a body with an elective basis and compulsory membership, the "Chambre des Métiers" represents all businesses within the trade and crafts sector in Luxembourg.
