As of January 1, 2019, 121,759 people aged 60 and over represent 19.8% of the total population. The oldest person, enumerated at that date, is a 111 year old man. On the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons on October 1st, STATEC gathered statistics on people aged 60 and over.
