As part of the joint awareness campaign of the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works, La Sécurité Routière and Police, STATEC publishes a study on pedestrians victims of personal injury. During the year 2018, 147 pedestrians were killed or wounded; less than in 2017 and 2016 (180 and 182). Of a total of 509 wounded pedestrians, 54% were women (275). Injured pedestrians averaged 39 years, 83% were residents.
