Most of the data in this section comes from the General Inspectorate of Social Security which manages statistical information of various fields of Social Security in Luxembourg such as sickness and maternity insurance, dependency insurance, accident insurance, pension insurance and family benefits, unemployment assistance (see employment and unemployment). These benefits and the guaranteed minimum income (see wages and cost of labour) are provided by the Employment Administration.
