With the exception of the data on higher education, all of the information accessible in this section comes from the Ministry of National Education and Professional Training – statistics and analyses department, which centralises the data on pupils and teachers in early, pre-school, primary and secondary education, together with data on the ongoing training of adults organised by the State and special education. Higher education comes under the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
