You submit your application via MyGuichet and receive an acknowledgement of receipt from the CGPO.
If your application is shortlisted, you will be invited to take a skills assessment at the CGPO (note: this is not the competitive examination for entry into the civil service).
Depending on the result obtained, you will then be invited to STATEC for an interview. This interview may include a test specific to the position.
STATEC’s Recruitment Committee will take a decision regarding the candidate to be recruited and will inform them accordingly.
Candidates who are not selected will receive a written notification of rejection from the CGPO.

If you wish to apply for multiple positions, you must submit a separate application for each position.

Our Values

At international level, the fundamental values of official statistics are based on principles of professional independence, objectivity, confidentiality, quality, and transparency. These principles form the foundation of the Code of Practice of the European Statistical System, ensuring public trust and the credibility of statistical-producing institutions.

Beyond these international standards, STATEC staff have defined their own values, brought together under the acronym VOICE, which express our collective identity and our way of embodying a modern, human-centered, and committed public service. These values guide our daily actions, strengthen internal cohesion, and affirm our determination to respond to society’s expectations with relevance, integrity, and innovation.

- Valoriser l’humain (Valuing the human)

Above all, we see the person behind the professional. We foster empathy, kindness, and respect in all our interactions, in order to create a work environment that attracts, retains, and develops talent. We value each individual’s contribution, skills, and efforts, while promoting diversity and inclusion. As a public service, we have a responsibility to lead by example and to bring these values to life on a daily basis.

O - Oser innover pour rester pertinent et efficace (Dare to innovate to remain relevant and effective)

We encourage measured risk-taking and constructive questioning in order to innovate without compromising service continuity. Innovation is inseparable from quality and efficiency, and it helps make STATEC an attractive and agile player in a changing environment. Listening to and anticipating the needs of our stakeholders, and acting in the public interest—for society and decision-makers alike—are integral parts of our mission.

I - Investir en soi et dans les autres (Invest in oneself and in others)

We cultivate a spirit of continuous learning (a growth mindset) and create an environment in which everyone is encouraged to develop. The sharing of knowledge and experience, data and code, is a collective responsibility: we promote knowledge transfer, constructive dialogue, and a culture of feedback grounded in kindness and continuous improvement.

- Cultiver la confiance (Cultivating trust)

We foster a culture of continuous learning (a growth mindset) and create an environment where everyone is motivated to grow. Sharing knowledge and experience—as well as data and code—is a collective responsibility. We encourage knowledge transfer, constructive debate, and a feedback culture rooted in respect and continuous improvement.

- S’engager ensemble (Commit together)

We believe in the strength of collective effort. Each staff member plays an essential role and contributes their piece to the larger STATEC puzzle. Together, our areas of expertise interlock and come to life like intermeshing gears, giving rise to a powerful process of intelligence—from data collection to its economic, social, and environmental interpretation. Individual responsibility and cooperation drive the whole forward, in the service of stakeholders and the public interest.
