Annual inflation rate remains stable at 2.2% in August
For the third consecutive month, annual inflation stands at 2.2%. The measures in the Resilienzpak relating to gas and electricity prices are contributing to a month-on-month fall in the aggregate energy price.

As at 31 July 2026, ADEM recorded 19,943 registered resident jobseekers available for work, i.e. 1,547 more people than at the end of July 2025 (+8.4% year-on-year).

Annual inflation rate remains stable at 2.2% in July
Annual inflation in June remained close to the level seen in the previous month, standing at 2.2 per cent, compared with 2.3 per cent in May. However, this apparent stability masks contrasting trends.
