Survey notification

STATEC must be notified in advance of any statistical survey of general interest carried out by a public or private body, in accordance with the law of 10 July, article 19.

This rule applies without prejudice to the statistical missions assigned to other national or international public bodies.

For these surveys, questionnaires (written, oral or via any other means of communication) must be notified to STATEC, which confirms receipt within seven working days. The questionnaires used must indicate that they have been notified to STATEC.

STATEC has the right to give its opinion on notified surveys and keeps a register of these surveys. This register is accessible to members of the Public Statistics Committee and the Higher Council for Statistics.

Finally, the statistical results of any survey of general interest must be sent to STATEC.
