Consumer prices in September: Annual inflation up from 2.5% to 2.7%

In September 2021, the national Consumer Price Index, calculated by STATEC, shows a monthly increase of 0.1% compared to the previous month. Prices for oil products increased by 1.2%, while prices excluding oil products recorded an increase of 0.1%. With the September results, a wage indexation is triggered, resulting in a 2.5% increase in wages, salaries and pensions as of 1st of October 2021.
