The profitability of European companies: an approach based on BACH data

The BACH database enables a comparative analysis of the profitability of Luxembourg non-financial companies at European level. Currently, this database aggregates and harmonizes the accounting data of companies in thirteen countries of the European Union. This publication explains the content and possible use of BACH data, paying close attention to Luxembourg data. In addition, the efficiency of European companies is assessed by a profitability study.
