Number of job seekers stabilizes

The number of available resident job seekers registered with ADEM is 14,153 as of August 31, 2022, similar to the previous month's figure. Compared to August 2021, this is a decrease of 1,970 people or 12.2%. The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate calculated by STATEC is 4.8%.

The number of jobseekers is down in particular for jobseekers with a registration period of more than 6 months (-26.7% for registration periods of 7 to 11 months and -20.7% for periods of 12 months or more).
