The number of job seekers remains stable

The number of available resident jobseekers registered with ADEM stood at 14,133 as of September 30, 2022, similar to the figure for the previous month. Compared to September 2021, this represents a decrease of 1,508 people or 9.6%. The unemployment rate, adjusted for seasonal variations, calculated by STATEC, is 4.8%, identical to last month.

The number of job seekers is down for job seekers whose registration period is greater than 6 months (-16.8% for registration periods of 7 to 11 months and -20.2% for 12 months and over).
