Study on the financial difficulties of residents in Luxembourg
Call for participationThe current inflation and energy crisis affect many households in Luxembourg. They exacerbate the situation of those people who had financial difficulties beforehand. Other households who managed to get by previously now face serious financial challenges.
STATEC, in collaboration with LISER (Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research), launches a new study to understand the consequences of the inflation and energy crises on the living conditions of households in Luxembourg and examine if they know the different welfare measures, if they use them and if they are sufficient.
We are looking for about 30 participants for individual interviews. We need people who fulfill the following criteria:
- You have difficulties making ends meet or you find yourself in a difficult financial situation and/or
- You have the impression that you don’t know or you have not asked for all the social welfare measures that exist in Luxembourg (cost-of-living subsidy, rent subsidy, energy subsidy,…)
The interview will last for about 1-1 ½ hours and takes place in a relaxed setting and in a place which is convenient for you. All your data will be treated absolutely anonymously.
Participants will be offered 30 euros as a thank you!
If you think that you are eligible to participate and you are interested in taking part in this study, please reply to this email or call us at: +352 247 84399. We are looking forward to answer all your questions.
