Luxembourg invests in wastewater management!
Nearly €1 billion spent on pollution prevention, reduction and elimination in 2020!
Almost €1 billion was spent on environmental protection in 2020, of which 51% was spent on wastewater management and 30% on waste management. Biodiversity and landscape protection contribute 10% of the total. The remaining expenditure (around 9%) covers air protection and other environmental functions.
