Men are more often employed in Luxembourg's sports clubs
In 2021, sports clubs employed 968 people, only 18% of whom were women. The occupation is a determining factor in explaining the gender balance. Among coaches, 16% of the positions were held by women (90 positions). Among athletes, this rate even drops to 15% (49 positions). While among the 77 administrative managers, 37 were held by women (48%).
