Summary

In this talk, Professor Christophe Ley (University of Luxembourg) reviewed the fascinating history of Artificial Intelligence, focusing on the main highlights. He then properly defined what AI is, and how its subfields such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Generative AI are related. Various concrete examples were shown, challenges as well as risks related to AI discussed, and a potential outlook on the future given. The overall goal was to somewhat demystify the buzzword AI.
