Luxembourg in figures 2024 now available

The new 92-page edition of "Luxembourg in figures" provides a statistical overview of the country and Luxembourg society. The brochure gathers previously unpublished statistical data on the territory and the environment, the population and the labour market, social conditions, businesses and the country's economy and finances. International comparisons help to situate Luxembourg in relation to the countries of the European Union and the world's major economies.

  • 6,320 children were born in Luxembourg in 2023 ?
  • 15.5% of the population was under 15 in 2024, and 15% over 65 ?
  • 2,539 marriages were celebrated in 2023, and 1,359 divorces occurred ?
