On 12 September 2024, STATEC organised the economic seminar Le Tourisme en Chiffres 2024.
On this occasion, Lucile Bodson and Rick Schmitz, with a contribution from Alain Krier, presented the following topic:
Tourism in Figures 2024
Tourism in Figures is a statistical directory of tourism. The figures presented relate to tourism in Luxembourg and the tourism practices of residents.
This seminar will present figures on residents' tourism practices, as well as local tourism statistics:
- What is the intensity of residents' tourism?
- Which destinations are the most popular?
- What are the characteristics of stays?
- How much does a stay cost?
- What is the local tourism offer?
- What does local tourism consumption represent?
- What is the economic weight of the tourism sector?
