Local tourism had the wind in its sails in 2020

In the context of the pandemic, six times as many overnight stays were recorded in Luxembourg among the resident population compared to 2019, and day trips increased by 60%. The data collected also makes it possible to measure residents' travel intentions, and thus to know whether this trend towards localism will continue once the health crisis is over.
