Demographic projections

What's it about?

STATEC produces population projections for Luxembourg. 

Population projections made by STATEC are disseminated by sex and age.

They simulate, up to the projection horizon, the number of men and women on the basis of hypotheses on the evolution of the three components of population variations (component method): fertility, mortality and migration.

Based on these population projections, STATEC also produces projections of the number of private households as well as projections of potential housing demand.
