Survey of cultural actors

Carried out within the framework of the culture satellite accounts, the STATEC survey of cultural actors is conducted annually among all museums, cinemas, stages for performing arts and castles that are identified as having professional organisational structures by the ministry of culture.

The electronic questionnaire collects mainly economic data. The cultural actors report their main revenue and expenditure, as well as their number of employees and volunteers. This makes it possible to estimate their total economic weight. Furthermore, the cultural actors report their total attendance.
