Survey on natural gas and electricity prices for final consumers

The survey of gas and electricity price transparency is carried out among the suppliers and distributors of gas and electricity on a half-yearly basis. It collects gas and electricity prices according to precise methods.

Legal framework

The legal basis of this investigation is the Regulation (EU) 2016/1952 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016, which establishes a Community procedure ensuring price transparency for the professional and non-professional end-user.
