The "Trustlab" project combines cutting-edge techniques from behavioural science and experimental economics with an in-depth investigation of the political and contextual determinants of trust in others and in institutions, administered to representative samples of participants.

“Trustlab” is the first international instrument that combines experimental measures of trust and other social norms with in-depth investigation of behavioural, institutional and social determinants of trust.
The information collected relates to:
- Trust in others
- Trust in public institutions
- Trust in statistics
- Trust in science
- Experimental games to measure trust in others and in groups.
Implementation
Luxembourg joined the OECD “TrustLab” project in 2021. The project administers a questionnaire via the online platform to a sample of 1000 residents in Luxembourg.
The "TrustLab" project in Luxembourg is coordinated by STATEC in collaboration with the OECD.
