STATEC has just published its report on "Labour and Social Cohesion". Employment goes up, but the unemployment rate also: since the financial crisis, employment growth slowed substantially in Luxembourg. From 2009 to 2014, employment continues however to rise by 2.0% on average annually. The standard of living stagnates: the nominal median income continues to increase in recent years, but at rates that are insufficient to compensate for the loss of purchasing power due to inflation. With 15.9%, the at-risk-of-poverty rate is back up to its 2009 level. Last update posted on 01/21/2015
