Conjoncture Flash April 2023: Will the recovery be weaker than expected in 2024?

Growth in activity in the euro area is likely to be modest this year, with various downside risks casting a shadow on the recovery forecast for 2024. The short-term indicators for early 2023 still show some signs of improvement in terms of activity, inflation and the labour market.
