Tourism in figures 2023 edition

This document is presented as a statistical directory of tourism. The figures presented concern tourism in Luxembourg and the tourist practices of residents. The vast majority of statistical data was collected and compiled by STATEC through two surveys: the tourism survey and the survey on arrivals and overnight stays in accommodation establishments. The other sources used and compiled by STATEC are the tourism satellite accounts which are based on national accounts, the balance of payments and credit card data.
The reader will find in this collection of statistics figures on the tourist practices of residents:

  • Which are the most popular destinations?
  • What are the characteristics of the stays?
How much does a stay cost?
