Regards 10/22 - Circumstances of road accidents

This year, the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, established by the United Nations in 2005, was commemorated on 20 November. These often violent and traumatic accidents killed nearly 20,000 people in the EU in 2021, including 24 in the Grand Duchy. On this day, STATEC takes a look at the circumstances of road accidents from 2012 to 2021. During this period, 315 people lost their lives on Luxembourg's roads, 2,729 were seriously injured and 9,669 escaped with minor injuries.
