While a quarter of victims of violence say they suffer physical injuries, the emotional impact is much more marked: 61% of victims of violent acts say they feel a loss of confidence, a sense of vulnerability and insecurity, while 69% of female victims experience fear, anxiety or panic. For more than 22% of victims aged 16 to 34, these violent acts have led to sleep or eating disorders, and social isolation for 17% of them.
