Peer Reviews

Peer Reviews serve as a mechanism to assess the compliance of all members of the European Statistical System (including the Luxembourg Statistical System) with the 16 principles of the European Statistics Code of Practice. The aim is to provide forward-looking recommendations to improve and further develop the national statistical systems of the European Union.

Three rounds of Peer Reviews have been carried out:

Cycle III of the Peer Review is underway, and Luxembourg welcomed the team of expert assessors in January 2022. The associated report, which identifies the strengths and weaknesses of the Luxembourg Statistical System, notably offers recommendations to strengthen further the national statistical system.
