The oldest book dates from 1844. It is part of the luxemburgensia collection.

"Ancient" holdings

The library provides readers with a file of bibliographic references by author and subject for the part of its "ancient" collection that is not yet fully catalogued in the a-z.lu search engine.

"Recent" holdings

Currently 8847 items from the "recent" collection are catalogued in the a-z.lu search engine.

The STATEC library is part of the Luxembourg library network (bibnet.lu) using the Aleph cataloguing system managed by the Bibliothèque nationale du Luxembourg (BnL), which facilitates searches:

• The a-z.lu search engine gives access to the entire documentation of the bibnet.lu network.
• By selecting both "My bibnet.lu library" and "STATEC" in the a-z.lu search window, the user can access the "recent" holdings of the STATEC library.
