Infographic 04/22 - The use of instant messaging

In 2021, 74% of Internet users used instant messaging such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Snapchat…; women (77%) slightly more often than men (72%). The connection to these applications decreases with age, dropping from more than 80% to around 60% beyond the age of forty.
