STATEC has elaborated the projections of the « Energie- a Klimaplang fir Lëtzebuerg » (Plan National intégré en matière d'énergie et de climat – PNEC)

Today, STATEC participated - alongside Ministers Bettel, Fayot, Turmes and Welfring - in the presentation of the updated version of the Integrated National Energy and Climate Plan (PNEC).

STATEC's projection models allow simulating major economic trends and to quantify past and future energy and greenhouse gas emissions measures. The given presentation presents a brief overview of the three main goals: emissions reduction, energy efficiency and renewable energy.

In order to present its models and results, STATEC will hold a series of economic seminars. A first session takes place on April 21 at 11:00 a.m. (Hybrid mode, link to registration). In May, another three seminars are organized to explain the models and results of the transport and building sectors as well as other economic activities.
