Results of the projections for the Integrated National Energy and Climate Plan (PNEC)

STATEC has updated the projections for the integrated national energy and climate plan (PNEC). These projections aim to show the main results for 2030 and 2050 in terms of energy production and consumption, as well as greenhouse gas emissions. These projections will be compared with the relevant targets, and the macro-economic impacts will be presented.

For this update of the PNEC, STATEC has taken into account the latest statistical observations, new STATEC economic and demographic projections and the adaptation of certain measures and assumptions.

These results will be presented at an economic seminar on Friday 19/07. They will be presented by Jill Schaul, Laurent Braun and Lena Rota, analysts in STATEC's Business Conditions, Modelling and Forecasting Department.
