Stabilisation of construction prices

Residential construction prices continued to decelerate, rising by just 0.8% between October 2023 and October 2024. Between April and October 2024, the construction price index rose by just 0.3%, reflecting a virtual stagnation in prices after a period of high inflation. However, this trend is the result of divergent developments between the various trades, with a prolonged fall in prices for carcassing and a continuing rise in the cost of technical installations.
