Adult education survey (AES)

The objective of the survey is to collect information on the participation of the population in lifelong learning. The survey aims to determine the participation rate of the population in formal education, non-formal education and informal learning by type of respondent and by type of training.

The results of the survey will be disseminated via various STATEC publications. The results will also be published by Eurostat.

The Adult Education Survey is conducted in parallel in all EU countries and therefore provides comparable data for all these countries.
