Maxime Pettinger

Maxime PETTINGER joined STATEC's Research Division in August 2021. His interests include labor economics (with a special interest in the institutional determinants of labor market polarization), income inequality and various parametric and non-parametric econometric techniques related to these topics. Maxime holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Luxembourg, which he obtained in September 2021. He is an advocate of open-source solutions, including Linux-based operating systems and the statistical programming language R. These tools are at the core of his workflow.
