Entrepreneurship for Sustainability International Workshop Luxembourg, 14 May 2024
Organized by STATEC Research, the research division of the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies of Luxembourg in cooperation with the Global Entrepreneurship Monitoring (GEM).
On 14 May 2024, practitioners, scholars, and policymakers interested in the role of entrepreneurship in society will meet in Luxembourg for the International Workshop “Entrepreneurship for Sustainability”. The aim of the workshop is to gather leading actors in the European entrepreneurial ecosystem to discuss the evolving role of entrepreneurship, with a specific emphasis on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG), and Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) initiatives. Coinciding with the launch of the new Report of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor Luxembourg 2023/2024, the workshop will explore opportunities and challenges faced by entrepreneurs in a rapidly changing world, and their role in sustainable development.

- Strategies for entrepreneurs to adapt to and to make the most of environmental challenges.
- The role of digital transformation in advancing sustainable entrepreneurship.
- Case studies of successful sustainable business models in the digital age.
- Challenges and solutions for startups in aligning with sustainability and ESG goals.
- The role of sustainable finance in supporting sustainable entrepreneurship.
